Match Notes
Combined Brisbane initially withdrew from the KB Cup due to conflict with the NSWRFL over the proposed venue of the semi-final against Manly(assuming they won the quarter final) which the QRL wanted at Lang Park. Manly agreed to play at Lang Park with a neutral referee not Barry Gomersall that the QRL wanted and the QRL was happy with that and Brisbane were back in.
Lee Douglas & Tim Sheens were non-playing reserves for Country.
